ROLE PROFILE

Own product development end-to-end to build LLM-native software for automated accounting and finance workflows. Basis deploys real AI agents in production handling journal entries, reconciliations, technical accounting memos, and partnership tax workbooks. Backed by Accel and GV ($140M total raised).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own products end-to-end: customer thinking, feature prioritization, and execution against company objectives.

• Build LLM-native software that goes far beyond simple chatbots to create new paradigms of human-software interaction.

• Ship and iterate rapidly across the entire full-stack using React, TypeScript, Python, and Postgres.

• Work directly with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and push product capabilities forward.

• Mentor team members and lay the technical groundwork as the company rapidly scales.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3–10 years of experience building 0-to-1 software as a full-stack engineer.

• Proven track record in fast-paced startups (Series A-D) or quantitative trading funds.

• Strong product mindset, design sense, and high project ownership.

• Degree from a top global university.

• Ability to work on-site 5 days a week in NYC (Flatiron). All visa types sponsored.
