ROLE PROFILE

Own the end-to-end architecture and deployment of enterprise conversational AI agents. Decagon builds autonomous AI agents designed to handle complex customer operations and integrate seamlessly with enterprise backend systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and deploy custom conversational AI agents tailored to enterprise clients using advanced Python.

• Develop robust API integrations connecting Decagon's platform with client CRMs, ERPs, and internal databases.

• Conduct system testing, performance optimization, and latency monitoring across production agent workflows.

• Collaborate directly with client technical teams and executives to refine prompt architectures and operational logic.

REQUIREMENTS

• Expert-level Python engineering skills with experience in asynchronous programming and system architecture.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and modern backend architecture.

• Prior experience building or deploying conversational AI models, LLM applications, or complex automated workflows.

• Must work on-site 5 days a week in Toronto, Canada.
